Easter & the day after...
Easter came & went, beginning with a breakfast of Cheerios, followed by Mass, Force, Drive... a beautiful spring day; today 5" of snow are forecast. After lunch -- soup & cold cuts -- Trish retired to her downstairs domicile while I sat down & tormented my typewriter with tachyon-critters. When she finally finished her laundry/movie, we reheated the ham & cheesy potatoes meal of the day before. Then in the evening we watched disk #2 of movie #1 of LOTR. After that came Viagra & some soft-core porn, but I still had difficulties.
Monday, Trish & I had our appointment with Charlene Upstairs. I fixed some of my famous pancakes (what else?) & after some coffee we trucked over to the Center. We had an hour to kill before the Perky Pam Layout opened, so we went to the Lunch Box & had some coffee & some nummy treats.
The Layout bored me -- what else is new? When I'd finished my fish sticks, mac & cheese, & chore, I went Reuben down to the Invisible Drugster for some drugs.
Trish & Car-girl went out to do some shopping, & I got the idea of paring down the mid-section of TC, so there's no need for the ship to backtrack to reach the anomaly. This cuts about 1K out of it, at least. I wanted it to be in shape to submit by Easter; now I see I may have awhile longer to tarry behind the monitor. We watched some of our Battlestar Galactica DVDs for awhile.
When I woke up, Val-gal had left a message: "cool lets do it". I sent her a 3-4 paragraph response, drawing mostly from what Trish had said, as well as Charlene. We're anxiously awaiting a response.
